Heather grew up in the heart of south-central Illinois and is excited to bring 15 years of healthcare experience to the PremierU team. Her journey in healthcare began with a degree in Radiologic Sciences from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale (SIUC), where she later earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is also a proud member of the Pi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society.

Hormones have always fascinated her, especially how they influence our bodies. Heather is thrilled to bring her expertise in endocrinology and patient care to help patients feel their absolute best. She believes in delivering exceptional healthcare by truly listening to her patients and involving them in every step of their treatment plan.

On a personal note, Heather has been happily married to her husband, Joseph, for 13 wonderful years. They take great joy in spoiling their nieces, nephews, and their little ones. When she’s not working, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, diving into a good book, or traveling—particularly to the West Coast to visit family! Hello! I’m Meghann, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management, and a Certified Wellness Practitioner. Since 2007, I have been in a variety of settings providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling to all ages. What intrigues me everyday about nutrition is how much influence it has on our lives and that it gives us energy to fuel our bodies. I am constantly impressed by nutrition’s significance to promote health and wellness, prevent the onset of chronic disease, and to reduce chronic disease risk and progression. My focus on nutrition and learning is pivotal in implementing medical nutrition therapy to everyone it benefits. I am excited to collaborate with PremierU and their multidisciplinary team, helping to enhance behavior modifications to support healthy weight loss.
